We live just a small walk from the North Platte River. Since the summer season was to soon end, I gave in to the kids pleadings and headed to the river to play for awhile. My boys ended up just digging up some mud while my daughter splashed around.
Why hadn't we done this sooner in the season? Sometimes the simplest things are the funnest.
