I've had this bookshelf since I was a kid. It's moved with me 11 times. It's still standing strong...but drowning in it's outdated skin.

It was time for a face-lift. It was time for paint. My husband decided then would be a good time to take the kids out run some errands. He was right; I'm a messy painter.

I wanted to distress it a bit, but my husband really likes the color as it is. SO, for now, he wins. It's adds a great POP! to the room! Now, what will I paint next?

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing, please come back Wednesday night to relink where you will get a lot more traffic. I surprised and confused everyone with a linky party on Monday on a specific subject--stretching our creativity with some specific challenges.
ReplyDeleteI love that eggshell blue! I actually used to have a hen that laid eggs just a shade lighter. Beautiful painting job.

Great makeover and i love the color!! I am on the hunt for two matching book cases to use on the sides of a single bed to change it into a trundle bed look. This gave me some inspiration when I find them...
