Valentine Bulbs

(a couple of my pictures got deleted and I can't upload them...all this after I posted.  Not sure what the problem is.  I will try to repost).

My husband was kind enough to bring home his computer from work to let me use.  Problem is, he needs to use it at work, so I only get it after he gets home.  But that's better than nothing.  

I want to show you the first Valentine's decoration that I put up.

Remember my after Christmas purchase?

I knew when I bought them I would use the pink at Valentines but then I realized that the red and silver would work as well. 

It was a tough road getting there.  I tried a lot of different things.  First, I used an old ivy topiary I had.

Yuck.  Not at all what I was envisioning.  Okay.  Next idea...

Remember my card holder?  I stripped the cards off, altered my frame to lay horizontally and strung on the ornaments.  It dipped in the middle and I didn't like it.  So, keeping the ornaments on the wire, I decided to let them gather at one end and hung them at a cluster.

I love the simplicity of it but it makes a huge impact.  LOVE it!
