My Christmas Tree

I have been running around like crazy.  I have this flex-spending plan (money you save from paychecks to pay for medical expenses that insurance won't cover) with a whole lot of money in it and only one month to use it before I lose it.  So, I've set up just about every type of appointment there is and have been doing that for the past two weeks and get to do it again next week.  Lucky me, the dentist I picked splits new patient appointments into two parts, the x-rays and then the cleaning.  That's not even any work that might need to be done (one kid needs to come back for that and another was referred to another dentist because of her age...really?!!).

Then there's the health check-ups and the chiropractor and....blahblahblah!

I'm grateful to be able to go to a doctor and have a way to pay for it, but in this particular case, I'd rather be able to cash out.  I have a point here.  I really do.  I did not craft today.  I had my daughter's field trip 1st thing in the morning, doctor's appointments and then the school day was over and I had to help the kids with homework and make dinner (I cheated and we had leftovers and ramon noodles) and now it's time to think about my post for tomorrow and I just don't have energy leftover.  In fact, my husband just turned on Cupcake Wars (NEW SEASON!!!)

and I'm going to check out.  But not before I share some pictures of my tree.  Can't leave you with nothing.

Yes, it is covered from head to toe with ornaments and lights.  I love just sitting in my living room and staring at it.  I look at this picture and know that I need to work on my picture taking skills.  There's such a warmness to my tree that the camera isn't catching.

Merry Christmas!

I know - we try really hard to plan ahead with the flexible spending so we don't do what you are doing. :)

I love the nativity ornament.
