It's Amazing What a Little Paper Can Do

More paper used, wahoo!  I LLLLLLLOOOOVVVEEE Cosmo Cricket.  If they ever want me to advertise for them, I TOTALLY will.  They make the cutest designs.

On a trip to the thrift store many months back, I picked up this little unit:

I'm not sure that I have knick-knacks small enough, but it was really besides the point.

95 cents seems to be my magic number.

I grabbed some paper I have that I've been saving cause I just love it too much to use.  I'm starting to get over that mentality.  I'm feeling quite proud of myself.  Just used some adhesive, did some super fancy measuring (guestimations) and got this:

I decided not to paint the wood.  I felt the rustic color matched the paper perfectly.

Love your re-do of the 95 cent shelf! That is my magic number too, and sometimes I will even go to 99! Very cute papers! I popped over from the Idea Room and I love your blog name.

So cute, my husbands grandpa was a printer so I have a huge print type drawer that is similar to that only bigger, and I am trying to figure out what to do with it! It really looks great!

Ok this is the cutest idea and I am so glad I found your blog! I recently bought my youngest a cube shelf at a local thrift shop and wanted to paint it but with wooden floors I am terrified to do that. Now I am just going to decoupage it with paper. Thank you so much for the idea and making my day! You are fabulous!!!

So cute! I wish I could find such fun items when I go "spelunking" into the thrift stores!

I love how the paper shows off. I don't think you'd even need to put anything on it. You could just hang that as a statement piece. The paper makes it work so well!

Thanks for sharing. It's a good use of leftover paper too. I hate to throw the good stuff away!
